Years in the field.
Independent wildlife, nature and adventure photographer and videographer based in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Go looking. Stay patient. Document carefully.
Photography and documentation began as a pursuit I loved, before slowly turning into a profession. The work today is built around curiosity, nature, adventure and the long-term act of paying attention.
For over fifteen years I've pursued a freelance career built on curiosity and a relentless pursuit of perfection. My passions for nature, adventure and creativity form the cornerstone of my work — today, as an independent photographer and videographer dedicated to capturing wildlife, wild places and the outdoor life of the Himalayas.
In 2012 I noticed how few resources existed online in Nepal for people to learn about and identify the natural subjects around them. In 2015 I launched Prakriti Nepal, a long-term, self-funded repository of Nepal's flora and fauna, built one field observation at a time.
That same instinct — to go looking, to stay patient, to document carefully — carries into mountain biking, outdoor education, wilderness first aid, conservation storytelling and writing for print.
